Poon Choi is an indispensable delicacy for the Lunar New Year celebration. This traditional dish originates from the walled villages of the New Territories in Hong Kong and the Guangdong region of China. Poon Choi is crafted by layering and cooking dozens or more ingredients, with each layer thoughtfully selected and arranged. These ingredients symbolize prosperity and good fortune and noble auspiciousness. This year, WASO’s Hong Kong Head Chef has meticulously created two exquisite, traditionally authentic Hong Kong-style Poon Choi options, designed to bring warmth, harmony, and complete festive joy to your holiday dining table.

Serving Suggestions:
Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer on low for about 20 minutes before serving. Before eating, add the special sauce into the Poon Choi and heat together. The Poon Choi must be thoroughly heated before consumption (suitable for open flame or induction cooker). For storage: keep in the refrigerator at 0–4°C for up to 5 days, or freeze at –18°C for up to 3 months.
