■ How to Use Shiitake Dashi

〇 Basic Dashi
Use 1 dashi packet per 400 ml of water (about 2 cups).
Place it in from cold water, bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for 2–3 minutes before removing.
Adjust seasoning to suit your dish.

〇 Strong Dashi
Use 2 dashi packets per 500 ml of water (about 2½ cups).
Place it in from cold water, bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for 2–3 minutes before removing.
Adjust seasoning to suit your dish.

〇 Use as Seasoning
1 packet serves about 2–3 people.
Tear open the packet and use the contents directly in your cooking.
