Crafted in Japan by Kaisen, this premium mentaiko uses Alaska pollock roe seasoned to highlight a deep, savoury umami with a refined, lingering warmth. The grains are plump and clean-tasting; on steaming rice they soften quickly, releasing richness that gently coats each bite. Ideal for topping hot rice, filling onigiri, folding into tamagoyaki, or stirring through buttered pasta for an elegant, restaurant-style finish at home. Product of Japan. Keep frozen below -18°C, thaw in the refrigerator, do not refreeze after thawing, and keep chilled then consume within 3 days. The product can be eaten raw.
