Saikaien Magatamabou Houjicha 80g

“Magatama Stick Houjicha” uses the signature magatama-shaped stems of Sonogi tea, carefully roasted for a nutty aroma and light sweetness. Perfect after meals or for relaxing moments. Low in caffeine, suitable for children or evening consumption, and can be enjoyed as a milk tea-style drink. A uniquely fragrant houjicha from Saikaien.

Sonogi tea from Higashisonogi, Nagasaki, is rare, representing only 1% of Japan’s tea production. Blessed with warm climate and pure water, it is mellow, low in astringency, and elegant in flavour. Highly acclaimed in national competitions.

How to enjoy:

Boil water to 90–95°C.

Place 6g of tea leaves (for 2 cups) into a teapot.

Pour hot water and steep for 30–40 seconds.

Pour evenly to the last drop.

Enjoy the roasted aroma and clean aftertaste – perfect for after meals or relaxation.
