This is our exquisite Unagi Kabayaki. Each bite is bursting with umami, featuring a tender and juicy texture that pairs perfectly with our special sweet and savoury sauce by Nobu Sakaguchi. We've changed our supplier, resulting in even higher quality eel. Try it over a steaming bowl of rice – you won't be disappointed! (The soy sauce-based sauce has a low freezing point and often remains unfrozen, but this does not affect its quality.)
How to cook
- Transfer the unagi to an oven-friendly plate, taking care to remove any packaging.
- Cook in an oven for 4 mins at 180°C, or microwave for 2 mins (800W).
- Alternatively, bring a pot of water to the boil, then add the unagi inside its packaging. Cook for 5 minutes.
